Marc joined Clearwater from Deloitte Corporate Finance to help set up and develop our London office, building on his extensive knowledge of private equity and mid-market M&A across a wide range of sectors.

Marc worked for 3i, the private equity group, for 16 years, latterly as regional director based in London. He then spent seven years with Andersen Corporate Finance where he helped develop sector and M&A teams and was a member of the management team. On leaving the Deloitte partnership, Marc started up Clearwater's London office in 2004.

Born in Birmingham, with a degree from Leeds, an MBA from Manchester and 25 years working in the South of England, Marc demonstrates Clearwater's commitment to full UK coverage. He is a highly experienced adviser on private company M&A and private equity transactions.

Marc has a sound knowledge of the retail and consumer brands sector and consequently leads our team activities in the sector

Hobbies and interests

Marc enjoys clay pigeon shooting and trying to train his cocker spaniel, Dizzy, as well as cooking for family and friends.
