Carl spent most of his 17 year career with Lathams Corporate Transactions before it became Clearwater’s Manchester office.
A well-known figure in the North West corporate finance community, he has spent the last 14 years leading mid-market private company transactions.
A one-year secondment to NatWest Bank in the mid-1990s saw Carl on the other side of the fence - providing the bank funding to help deals happen.
Carl's PA is Marie Burdis.
Carl enjoys being with his family, as well as mountain biking (downhill and cross-country), skiing, scuba diving, oil painting, playing piano, guitar and singing.
He used to read prodigiously, but now listens to books on his iPod so he can fit more in and combine one passion with another - his love of gadgetry.
