Marcus is based in the London office. He joined Clearwater in 2008 and has more than ten years M&A experience.

Marcus began his career with Kidsons Impey in Brighton in 1994, joining KPMG in Southampton three years later before moving to the firm’s London office to set up the support services team in 1999.

Also having experience as a nominated advisor, Marcus has helped companies to float on the Alternative Investment Market. He is also a chartered accountant and a member of the Securities Institute.

He has previously advised on numerous transactions across the support services sector with a particular focus on staffing, FM and outsourcing. Marcus has advised on a wide range of acquisitions, disposals, MBOs, MBIs and valuations for private equity houses and both public and private companies.

Some key deals he has advised on are the disposal of Arena Group to Gaitsford Investments, the disposal of Pegasus Security to ISS and advising on Nomura’s acquisition of Huntress.

Marcus now adds yet more experience to our Support Services team.

Hobbies and interests

Marcus enjoys spending time with his family, experimenting in the kitchen, playing tennis, gracing the ski slopes on his snowboard and scuba diving.
