Andy joined Clearwater in 2001 and has over 17 years international M&A experience for multinationals and owner-managed businesses with particular focus on both the engineering and healthcare sectors.

He qualified as a chartered accountant at PwC where he was a director in the Corporate Finance and Investment Banking group before joining Clearwater in 2001. His time at PwC included working in Singapore and Australia, where he advised clients on their acquisition and divestment strategies for the Asia Pacific region.

At Clearwater, Andy has led the firm in forging strong links with IMAP which has resulted in an ever increasing number of cross border deals for Clearwater, and he is now part of IMAP’s international management team.

Hobbies and interests

Andy has a daughter and two sons who take up a fair amount of his time and who he enjoys playing sports with. He also loves watching Aston Villa and going for long walks.
