Following a period of buoyant activity, driven by low interest rates and growth in consumer spend, the market is now experiencing considerable pressures. Since late 2007 the combined impact of the credit crunch and the consumers decreasing disposable income has led to decreasing sales and a higher level of business failures - creating opportunities for restructuring businesses, often via administration.
